Easily dispatching of Los Angeles, Winnipeg and Detroit, the Edmonton Oilers met the Broad Street Bullies in the 1987 Stanley Cup finals, with this the Flyers second Cup final appearance in three seasons. The series would be tightly contested, with the majority of the seven games only won by a goal or two. The Oilers would go up three games to one, with Philly battling back to tie the series at three. Game 7 would be won by the Oilers 3-1, with goals scored by Messier, Kurri and Anderson. Gretzky would lead all scorers with 34 points in 21 playoff games, with Ron Hextall winning the Conn Smythe. This lot offers a collection of Oilers 1987 Stanley Cup finals 35mm negatives totaling approx 2,402. Included, there are negatives from Game 4 May 24th, Game 5 May 26th, and Game 7 May 31st including Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri with the Stanley Cup, and the dressing room celebration.
