Best known for his tenure with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on its SmackDown brand where he was a one time WWE Tag Team Champion with Road Warrior Animal as a part of the 2005 version of the Legion of Doom, Jon Heidenriech would serve on the practice squads of the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons between 1992 and 1994 before playing for the Shreveport Pirates of the CFL in both 1994 and 1995. Concluding his career in Arena Football and NFL Europe before transitioning to wrestling, offered here is this Shreveport Pirates jersey issued for Heidenriech's use in 1995. Made by Starter and sporting a brand label that displays a size "XL" designation affixed to the inner collar, additional Starter/CFL, size "50", "Long" and "95" year tags have been added over the front hem. Sporting a CFL league crest at the base of the collar and a Starter logo patch over the reverse neckline and left shoulder, the sleeves feature screened on Pirates logos while the front, sleeves and reverse have been styled with the number "65" that was worn by Heidenriech during his two (2) year tenure with the team in dual layer white-over-orange screened on numerals. Featuring a purple twill nameplate sewn on over the upper reverse that never had Heidenriech's name heat pressed on to it (likely due to the fact his 1994 jersey was recycled into the 1995 season, the jersey remains in overall excellent condition, displaying just a couple of small red coloured scuffs to the numbers of the left shoulder.
