Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
The fifth game of the 1968-69 NHL season for the New York Rangers, played at the famous Madison Square Garden on Oct 23rd, it featured the Blueshirts taking on the second-season Oakland Seals. Hall of Fame defenseman Brad Park would make his NHL debut, and we offer a ticket stub from the match graded PR 1 by PSA. Decisively won by the Manhattanites 6-1 with Harry Howell netting the game winner, Park earned his first minor penalty, a 2:00 minute interference call at 15:43 of the third period. The stub lists the date and seat, with wear on the reverse including marker and some paper loss. Only six tickets from this historic debut have passed through the hands of the graders at PSA.
