Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2025
Widely considered one of the greatest hockey games ever played, the 1975 New Year’s Eve tilt in Montreal between the Habs and the Soviet Red Army saw a dominant Canadiens team humbled by an unbelievable goaltending performance from a young 23-year-old Russian named Vladislav Tretiak. Included in this lot, we have a desirable program from the memorable game, along with a ticket stub. At approx 8 ½” x 11”, the 64-page program is complete and in excellent condition with intact center line-up page, with the original $2.00 purchase price listed within the bottom right. The 3” x 4” ticket stub carries an $8.00 purchase price, with both full colour Habs and Soviet logos making it ideal for display with the program. There are a few creases to the ticket and light wear.
