Colorful pair of AHL Manchester Monarchs game-worn jerseys evoke the L.A. Kings’ original color palette of gold and purple. Dave Steckel’s 2004-05 Monarchs white gamer has the 2005 AHL All-Star Classic patch sewn on the left breast. Size 58 flag tag hangs below the SP tagging in the neck and the Catholic Medical Center sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast. Monarchs secondary logo patches are sewn on both shoulders and the L.A. Kings logo patch is sewn on the left rear tail. AHL patches are sewn on the back of the neck and to the right of the embroidered SP logo on the right hem. There are a few black marks below the All-
Star patch and a brown burn mark below that, blue paint transfer and a couple of unrepaired holes on the left shoulder, black mark on the left elbow, and blue paint transfer and black marks on the right sleeve. Matt Moulson’s 2006-07 gold jersey has reddish-brown stains that leaked down all over the front, including through the right side of the elaborate Monarchs crest. There are more reddish-brown spot stains on the left rear tail and on the left sleeve cuff. Size 58 flag tag hangs below the Reebok AHL tagging in the back of the neck. Reebok patches are sewn on the back of the neck and to the left of the AHL patch on the right rear hem. Possibly used for a skills competition. Moulson played for Manchester from 2006-07 to 2008-09, but only wore No. 39 in 2006-07. Moulson's black marker autograph sits on the "9" on the back, bold but blending into the darker purple twill background.
