The third of four NHL All-Star Game's that Dino Ciccarelli would suit up for over the course of his nineteen (19) year National Hockey League career, the 1989 edition of the league's mid-season spectacular saw Ciccarelli and the rest of the Campbell Conference All-Stars defeat the Wales Conference squad by a score of 9-5 at Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton with Wayne Gretzky being awarded the game's MVP award. Picking up an assist in the 2nd period, offered here is this jersey worn by Ciccarelli throughout the entirety of the 1989 NHL All-Star Game. Made by CCM and featuring a Maska Air-Knit label affixed to the inner collar that displays a handwritten size "52" designation in black ballpoint pen ink, an orange, black and white coloured CCM logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey was a large NHL shield team crest in layered tackle twill, black coloured tackle twill stars have been added over the waist area on both the front and reverse. Having had Ciccarelli's number "20" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Ciccarelli" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Sporting an alternate conference logo patch over the left shoulder and the all-important 1989 NHL All-Star Game event logo crest over the right shoulder, the fight strap found on the interior of the jersey remains intact and functional.
Remaining in beautiful condition with no discernible signs of game-wear, though a couple of light spot stains are present over the arms, the jersey was originally on display at "Ciccarelli's Premier Sports Club and Eatery" restaurant in a frame. Having been removed from said frame and therefore showing some pinholes from the former mounting, the interior hem is lightly sticky from being held together with mounting tape. Originally hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Ciccarelli will accompany the piece.
