Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
Marking the second time Canadian company Parkhurst had released a set of hockey cards, the 1952-53 assembly would have been considered a set up at the time being larger than the cards released the year prior and with full sized images of players with information gracing the reverse while the checklist held consistent at 105 cards, highlighted by the RC of a young defenseman by the name of Tim Horton. Presented here, we offer this group of five (5) cards from Parkhurst's 1952-53 release which have all earned grades of NM-MT 8 after their inspection at PSA. Including examples of #35 Jim Peters (POP-18 with only three better), #38 Jim McFadden (POP-14 with only two better), #69 Ed Sandford (POP-14 with only one better), #102 Robert McLeod (POP-14 with only one better) and #104-Reginald Sinclair (POP-13 with only one better). All housed in excellent condition PSA holders, light scratches/scuffs are present throughout the group.
