Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
One of the toughest living legends of hockey signatures to acquire, here is a wonderful Ken Dryden example attractively affixed to a classic photo. Widely regarded as one of the all-time greatest goaltenders, despite a comparatively brief NHL career spanning 1971-79, Dryden is a six-time Stanley Cup champion, a member of Team Canada 1972, and the only player ever to claim the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP before winning the Calder as rookie of the year the following season. The cut is 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" and executed in dark ink, with "Good Luck" added. There is a PSA/DNA sticker numbered "AE81144" affixed to the cut, with the 8" x 10" photo showing Dryden guarding the crease in the first style mask he wore in the NHL. A PSA/DNA COA will accompany.
