Developing with Tappara in his native country of Finland before being drafted 2nd overall by the Florida Panthers at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Aleksander Barkov has become one of the most dominant offensive forces in the National Hockey League, playing every one of his career games played in South Florida thus far, claiming the Selke Trophy in both 2021 and 2024 as well as the Stanley Cup in 2024 as well. Having represented Finland internationally on numerous occasions, including winning silver at the 2016 IIHF World Championship, offered here is the helmet worn by Barkov while helping his country to a silver medal that year which has been photo-matched. A Bauer model bucket in a royal blue colour that features all the padding on the interior still as well as a complete strapping harness, a Bauer visor is affixed to the front, which partially covers a Finnair sponsorship decal that has been placed over the forehead. Having had his number "61" applied in dual layer decals over the crown as well as the lower reverse, with the latter above a sticker of the Flag of Finland, matching Suomi decals appear behind each ear. Also having had an additional "Kunnioita Pelia" sticker applied over the lower reverse also, the helmet shows good use via a number of scratches and scuffs throughout its entirety. Regarding the photo-match, the helmet is matched with Getty Image #531962738 (May 17th, 2016 vs Canada - 2016 IIHF World Championship) to a number of the scratches and scuffs seen over the left side of the piece.
