This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
The main producer of hockey cards in Canada during the National Hockey League's golden era of the "Original Six", Parkhurst would release cardboard featuring images of the NHL's top stars from 1951-52 to 1963-64. Offered here, we present this collection of fifteen (15) graded Parkhurst hockey cards that date between 1953-54 to 1962-63. With the oldest cards present found via a pair of 1953-54 offerings that include the rookie cards of Andy Bathgate (KSA GOOD 2) and Eric Nesterenko (BVG NEAR MINT 7), the rest of the collection is headlined by a copy of Jacques Plante's 1957-58 card, which displays a mark of GOOD 2 over its label from PSA. For the rest of the lot, included are 1955-56 cards of 28-Apps (KSA VGE 4), 38-Moore (PSA GOOD 2), 45-Harvey (KSA GOOD 2), 46-Bouchard (KSA GOOD 2) and 77-"Jammed On The Boards" (PSA VG 3), a lone 1958-59 card of 39-"Action Around The Net" (PSA EX-MT 6), 1959-60 cards of 8-Harvey (KSA VG 3), 25-"Bower In Action" (KSA VGE 4) and 33-Geoffrion (PSA VG 3), a lone 1960-61 card of 57-Marshall/Richard/Moore (KSA ENM 6) and finally, a pair of 1962-63 cards of 46-Tremblay (PSA NM-MT 8) and 48-Geoffrion (KSA ENM 6). All housed in either PSA, BVG or KSA holders that remain in overall good condition despite scratches and scuffs that are present throughout the group and worth mentioning for accuracy, don't miss out on this group for your all-important collection!
