Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
Released during decades that were dominated by teams such as the Montreal Canadiens, New York Islanders and Edmonton Oilers with some players cementing themselves as some of the greatest to ever lace up the skates in the National Hockey League, offered here is this collection of three (3) graded O-Pee-Chee hockey cards that date between 1971 to 1985 and include names of HOFers such as Guy Lafleur, Ray Bourque and Al MacInnis. Paced age wise by the 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee rookie card of Guy Lafleur that has been slabbed to the tune of a GOOD 2 designation by Beckett, the other two (2) cards present in the lot are found via the first year examples of Ray Bourque (1980-81 O-Pee-Chee) and Al MacInnis (1985-86 O-Pee-Chee), which display marks of VG-EX 4 from Beckett and ENM 6 from KSA respectively. All housed in holders that exhibit some scratches and scuffs over both sides that are worth mentioning for accuracy, don't miss out on these for your all-important collection.
It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
