The Garth Brooks Foundation Teammates For Kids patch sits on the right breast of this Carolina Hurricanes gamer worn by Trevor Letowski. Currently a Montreal Canadiens assistant coach, Letowski wore this red ‘Canes home jersey for Carolina’s home game at RBC Center on January 4, 2007, a 2-0 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes. This single-use game-worn jersey, which has Letowski’s No. 19 written in black marker on the size 54 flag tag in the neck, bears the patch of the famous country music singer’s foundation, which in November 2005 became the official children’s charity foundation of the NHL and NHLPA. Worn only for that game, this near-pristine Hurricanes jersey has a few marks on the white twill of the white and black double twill “1” on the back. “Garth Brooks Teammates For Kids Foundation” along with the names of both teams, RBC Center, Raleigh, NC, and the date of the game are screened in white inside the rear hem. MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2006-2007 patch with registry No. D03933 is sewn to the right on the inside hem. Comes with a MeiGray LOA. According to the Meigray population report the jersey is a "Red w/ 'Teammates For Kids' Patch - 1/4/07".
