Featuring a 51-card checklist that includes players from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens, the 1961-62 Parkhurst set is often regarded by collectors as the release that signaled the beginning of the end for the company’s hockey releases. Found here in complete set form, offered here is this complete set of Parkhurst's 1961-62 hockey card release that is largely in the condition ranges of G to VG and VG to VG-EX for its efforts. For the key cards, included are those of 1-Horton (VG to VG-EX - tiny crease), 2-Mahovlich (EX to EX-MT - slightly off-center), 3-Bower (EX to EX-MT - slight wear to the top border), 5-Keon (GOOD - small crease near his head), 7-Shack (EX to EX-MT - slight corner wear), 20-Howe (FR to G - ink on the reverse), 26-Ullman (G to VG - corner and left border wear), 31-Sawchuk (VG to VG-EX - corner wear), 35-Geoffrion (GOOD - crease at bottom right corner), 43-H. Richard (GOOD - crease at top left corner), 45-Beliveau (VG to VG-EX - wear to bottom left corner) and 49-Plante (VG to VG-EX - wear to top left corner). For the condition breakdown of the rest of the set, six (6) cards are seen as being around EX to EX-MT, ten (10) cards are around VG to VG-EX, thirteen (13) cards are around G to VG, seven (7) cards present as FR to G and finally, three (3) cards are around PR to F.
