This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
A classic set that is high up on everybody’s want list in the hockey card hobby, O-Pee-Chee’s 1971-72 set is offered here with the assembly made up largely of cards in the lower grade range, averaging out to GOOD for its effort. Highlighted by the key rookie cards of Montreal Canadiens teammates Ken Dryden and Guy Lafleur, the Dryden is found to be in the neighborhood of FR to GOOD due to corner damage and water damage as well while the Lafleur rookie is around GOOD and affected by creases throughout. Also including the rookie offering of Marcel Dionne, found to be in the vicinity of FR to GOOD with damaged corners and small creases, the rest of the key cards include the likes of 20-P. Esposito (EX-MT - off-center), 50-Hull (PR - large creases), 100-Orr (PR - large creases), 111-Checklist (PR - marked and large creases), 114-Clarke (G to VG - corner wear), 193-Sittler (PR - large creases), 245-Orr Trophies (PR to FR - creased and corner wear/damage), 251-Orr AS (VG to VG-EX - small border ding overtop of his head), 262-Howe Mr. Hockey (G to VG - corner wear), 263-Beliveau Gros Bill (VG-EX to EX - light corner wear) and 264-Checklist (GOOD - marked and erased). A wonderful trip down memory lane awaits our lucky winning bidder!
