The beginning of a mini-dynasty, the Toronto Maple Leafs won the franchise's first of three consecutive Stanley Cup championships in 1961-62 after defeating the powerful Bobby Hull and his Chicago Black Hawks in a six-game final. This original photo features the 1961-62 Stanley Cup champion Leafs. The photo is approx 14" x 19", and matted to just under 26" x 28". The full team is pictured in the traditional on ice team photo including Tim Horton, Dave Keon, Frank Mahovlich, Johnny Bower, Allan Stanley, George Armstrong, King Clancy and Conn Smythe. All the players are named on a small piece glued to the matte beneath the photo. This beautiful piece is ready for a wonderful framing.
