A long-serving captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Mats Sundin is currently the Leafs' all-time leader in goals and points. Drafted first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in 1989, Sundin would also represent his native Sweden on numerous occasions throughout his career, winning an Olympic gold medal in 2006. Up for grabs here, we present this stick used by Sundin as a member of the Nordiques during his sophomore season of 1991-92 when he posted seventy-six (76) points in eighty (80) games played. A Sher-Wood P.M.P 9030 model twig with "Sundin" stamped over the shaft and his number "13" penned near the top in black marker ink, the stick retains its original tape job of white around the handle/knob and black around the blade. Displaying numerous production stamps on the underside of the lower shaft just above the heel and having been signed by Sundin over the forehand side of the lower shaft with a large rookie era signature in black marker ink that displays without issue. Displaying just light game-use, a few dark marks are seen over the areas of the lower shaft and heel with additional marks over both side of the blade tape, which is tattered in areas. Additionally, some minor marks and abrasions are seen throughout the length of the shaft as well.
