One of the most prolific scorers in the current iteration of the National Hockey League and certainly possessing a certain knack for coming up big in clutch moments, David Pastrnak continues to elevate himself into the territory of legendary status that surely will put him in the conversation as being one of the best Boston Bruins of all-time. Having played every game of his NHL career with the Boston Bruins thus far and scoring over 350 goals in that time as well as nearly 800 points, offered here is this Bauer helmet and pant shell worn by "Pasta" during Boston's centennial celebration season of 2023-24, specifically during the eleven (11) games when the Bruins wore their centennial third jerseys both at home and on the road throughout the year. Starting with the helmet, a Bauer made Re-Akt 85 model bucket with a matching Bauer branded visor affixed to the front of it, the helmet retains all its padding on the interior as well as the complete strapping harness. Displaying "Bauer" over the forehead and Pastrnak's number "88" via affixed decals over both the crown and lower reverse, matching "TD Bank" sponsorship stickers are found over both sides of the piece while Boston centennial and NHL Unity/Equality logos have been added over the lower reverse as well. Displaying good game-wear via some scratches, marks and other scuffs/abrasions throughout the entirety of the piece, a "Boston Bruins Authentics" tag featuring a hologram affixed to the reverse has been added to the part of the strapping harness over the left ear. For the pant shell, also made by Bauer and sporting labels reading "M/M" and "Pastrnak" sewn inside the waist, an additional tag reading "Supreme Pro Shell" has been sewn on under the "Pastrnak" label as well. Brown in colour with cream stripes running from top-to-bottom down each leg, "Bauer" is embroidered into the front of the left thigh while the NHL shield logo is embroidered into the back of the right one. Complete with its belting harness in the waist, the shell shows good game-wear via numerous stick marks, board burns, coloured board paint transfers and other scuffs/frays while an unrepaired cut is seen on the backside of the right thigh. Also showing sweat staining on the interior, a "Boston Bruins Authentics" tag featuring a hologram affixed to the reverse had been added to the locker loop on the reverse side of the waist along with the original team store price tag.
Regarding the photo-matches, the helmet is photo-matched with Getty Image #2086497856 (March 14th, 2024 vs Montreal) to the wear seen to the white paint of the Bauer logo over the forehead while the pant shell is matched with Getty Image #2076713660 (March 14th, 2024 vs Montreal) to the large stick mark over the right thigh and to the loose thread coming off the top of the "U" in "Bauer".
