Saskatchewan’s Byron Bitz was selected by Boston in the fourth round (No. 107) in the 2003 NHL Draft and played a total of 97 games with the Bruins, the Florida Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks. His photo-matched AHL Providence Bruins game-worn jersey is from the 2007-08 season, when he posted 27 points in 61 games in his rookie pro campaign after four seasons at Cornell. According to the LOA with MeiGray registry No. 138228 that accompanies this jersey, it was worn during the first half of the 2007-08 AHL season. A MeiGray COR is also included and a generic MeiGray patch is sewn inside the rear tail, which has a custom-shortened fight strap. No. “29” is handwritten in black marker on the size 60 flag tag inside the collar below the RBK AHL tagging. The jersey is photo-matched to a hockey card of Bitz that shows the black marks on the upper white portion between the front and the left sleeve. Loads of game wear in addition to those marks with black marks on the P-Hub crest and the front, six team repairs on the left sleeve, five more sewing fixes on the right sleeve, and board burns on both sleeves.
