Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A product of the USHL's Sioux City Musketeers and Jokerit in the KHL, Eeli Tolvanen would hear his name called 30th overall by the Nashville Predators at the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to skate with both the Predators and Seattle Kraken thus far in his career after being claimed off waivers by Seattle in 2022. Also having represented his native Finland on numerous occasions already, winning gold at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship and being named to the Olympic All-Star Team in 2018, offered here is this stick used by Tolvanen during pre-tournament activities as a member of Team Finland leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. A CCM JetSpeed model offering with "Tolvanen" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of blue cloth over the handle and knob that is finished at the bottom with a single ring of white as well as black around the front section of the blade. Remaining in overall excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, the stick shows game-wear via a number of marks/abrasions throughout the length of the shaft, lower shaft, heel and untaped sections of the blade while both sides of the blade tape show marks as well. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany the piece.
