Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A product of the Assat system in Finland who also played in the NCAA with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, Erik Haula would be drafted 182nd overall by the Minnesota Wild at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to play in over 600 games in his National Hockey League career thus far for the likes of Minnesota, Vegas, Carolina, Florida, Nashville, Boston and New Jersey. Also having represented his native Finland on numerous occasions in international play, offered here is this stick used by Haula as a member of Team Finland at the 2014 IIHF World Championship. A CCM RBZ Stage 2 model offering with "Haula" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of blue cloth-over-white around the handle/knob that is finished at the bottom with clear and white around the blade. Remaining in good condition and free from any cracks or breaks, the stick shows just light game-use via a few marks/abrasions throughout the length of the shaft, lower shaft and heel while some minor puck marks are present over both sides of the blade tape as well. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany the piece.
