Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Playing a total of eighty-seven (87) games in the Ontario Hockey League over the course of his junior career, Ryan Heeps would wear the colours of both the Owen Sound Attack and Oshawa Generals over that time, including this Attack jersey that he donned during the 2014-15 season of play. Made by CCM, brand and size "56" labeling have been affixed to the inner collar while CCM logo crests appear over the reverse neckline and left breast. Also having been accented with CHL and OHL league crests over the reverse hem and right breast respectively, the front of the jersey is decorated with an Owen Sound team crest that features embroidered details throughout while matching alternate logo patches appear atop of both shoulders. Also displaying residue of the once applied Juno Beach Centre patch over top of the OHL patch at the right breast, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have been styled with Heeps' number "12" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Heeps" has been spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and team store tag at the end of the left cuff, the jersey comes accompanied by an Attack LOA that incorrectly states that the jersey was worn during the 2013-14 season and shows game-wear via minor pilling, coloured board paint transfers, stick marks and light board burns.
