Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A veteran of 239 Ontario Hockey League contests over the course of five (5) seasons in the league, Holden Cook would go on to play Canadian university hockey with both St. Francis Xavier University and Ryerson University, winning a pair of AUS championships with the X-Men in 2016 and 2017. Offered here, we present this OHL Attack jersey worn by Cook during the 2011-12 season. Made by Reebok, brand and size "54" labels appear over the inner collar while Reebok crests have been added over the reverse neckline and over the left breast. Having had a CHL league crest placed over the reverse hem and an OHL league patch added over the right breast, the front of the jersey has been decorated with an Owen Sound team crest that features embroidered details throughout while matching alternate logo patches appear atop of both shoulders. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Cook's number "21" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Cook" has been spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and team store tag at the end of the left cuff, the jersey comes accompanied by an Attack LOA and shows game-wear via light pilling, coloured board paint transfers, team repairs, stick marks, board burns and some sweat staining.
