Playing with Topeka, Des Moines, Green Bay and Tri-City in the United States Hockey League before starting a collegiate career at the University of Omaha-Nebraska, J.P. Platisha would play a pair of seasons with the Topeka Scarecrows in 2001-02 and 2002-03. Offered here, we present this Scarecrows "First Responder Night" jersey worn by Platisha during his time with the team. Made by OT Sports and sporting both brand and size "56" labels affixed to the inner collar, an OT Sports logo is sublimated into the material of the jersey over the reverse neckline. Displaying with a flame design over the body and sleeves that have been sublimated into the material, the front of the garment is decorated with a Scarecrows team crest in sublimated twill while matching additional team crests are found atop of both shoulders. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Platisha's number "10" in dual layer red-over-yellow tackle twill numerals, "Platisha" is spelt out in single layer vinyl letters that have been heat-pressed over the upper reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and signed by Platisha through the "0" on the reverse with a black marker ink signature that shows heavy fading, the jersey shows game-wear via board burns over both sleeves and the reverse hem.
