Enjoying a minor pro career that saw him play in leagues such as the Central Hockey League and International Hockey League between 2004-05 and 2012-13, Larry Sterling would also spend time in the OHL, NAHL, USHL and NCAA as well. Offered here, we present this Detroit Compuware jersey worn by Sterling during the 2002-03 season. Made by CCM and in the team's rotation between 2000 and 2003 according to the accompanying LOA, both "Goalie Style" and size "56" labels are affixed to the inner collar while a CCM logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with "Compuware" going diagonally down the chest in dual layer orange-over-brown tackle twill letters, the NAHL's 25th anniversary patch has been placed atop of the left shoulder while an additional league crest is found over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Sterling's number "35" in matching style orange-over-brown numerals, "Sterling" is spelt out in single layer brown twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and showing excellent game-user throughout its entirety, the jersey shows wear via puck marks, team repairs, red post paint transfers and pilling on both the interior (around the elbow reinforcements) and exterior.
