David Booth, selected 53rd overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, suited up in 571 games over the course of eleven (11) seasons in the National Hockey League with the likes of the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings. Continuing his career overseas in both Russia and Germany after his years in the NHL, offered here is this AHL Toronto Marlies jersey worn by Booth during the 2014-15 season. A Reebok made garment that has been rebranded into a CCM jersey, a Reebok label can be found in the inner collar, with the size tag to it sewn over underneath it due to the added CCM logo patch that sits overtop of the existing Reebok one over the reverse neckline. Sporting and additional CCM over Reebok crest over the reverse hem as well as an AHL league crest, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Marlies team crest that features embroidered details while a Scotiabank sponsorship patch is found over the right breast. Having had matching Toronto Maple Leafs logo patches added atop of both shoulders, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Booth's number "20" in single layer white tackle twill numerals. Having had "Booth" spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey, worn for just a single game, displays no obvious signs of game-wear other than a couple of light board burns over the left forearm area. Having had a Marlies team tag heat-pressed inside the reverse hem, the jersey comes accompanied by a Marlies COA.
the embroidered Toronto Marlies’ logo, as well as a sponsor patch on the right breast. Booth’s number “20” embroidered in white tackle twill graces both sleeves, as well as the reverse of the jersey. Furthermore, “Booth” is embroidered in the same tackle twill on the nameplate. The Toronto Maple Leafs logo has been placed on both shoulders. CCM patches have been embroidered over existing patches on the back collar, and back hem. The fight strap is intact, and the inside hem features a certificate of authenticity from the Marlies’ equipment manager verifying it as a genuine game-worn jersey. The jersey conserves a clean overall appearance, and offers collectors a cool glimpse into a chapter of Booth’s extensive hockey career while showcasing the Marlies' classic logo and colors. It would make an excellent addition to any serious game-worn jersey collection. A COA from the Marlies will accompany the jersey.
