Playing six (6) years in the minor league system of the New York Yankees after they drafted him 414th overall in the 1982 MLB June Amateur Draft, Fredi Gonzalez has gone on to become a well known coach and manager in the Major Leagues, spending ten (10) years at the helm of either the Florida Marlins or Atlanta Braves to the tune of 1402 games. Also serving as a coach of various organizations during him time in professional baseball, most recently with the Baltimore Orioles, offered here is this Atlanta Braves jersey worn by Gonzalez on September 27th, 2013, a 1-0 win at home against the Philadelphia Phillies. A Majestic made offering that sports a brand/"MLB Authentic Collection" jock tag heat pressed over the front left tail which also displays a size "52" designation, a swatch of fabric reading "52" (size), "'13" (year) and "S3 (set #) is sewn on underneath in the same area. Decorated over the front with the familiar "Braves" script in dual layer navy-over-white tackle twill style, the franchise's tomahawk logo appears underneath, which displays with beautifully embroidered details. With white-navy-white pipping running down the front, around the collar/neck and around the openings of both sleeves, the jersey has been styled over the reverse with Gonzalez's number "33" in dual layer navy-over-white tackle twill numerals while "Gonzalez" is spelt out above in single layer white twill letters in a gentle arch across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting an MLB logo sewn on over the back of the collar and having had an MLB Authentics hologram reading "EK388574" affixed to the bottom of the second "3" on the reverse, the jersey remains in overall fantastic condition.
