Playing his college baseball at both Ohio State University and Francis Marion University, Josh Edgin would first be drafted by the 50th round of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft by the Atlanta Braves but would reenter the selection pool and be taken in the 30th round the next year by the New York Mets. Making his Major League debut with the Mets in 2012 and appearing in 177 games with the club between 2012 and 2017, offered here is this Mets jersey issued to Edgin for use during the 2013 season. A Majestic made offering that sports a brand/"MLB Authentic Collection" jock tag heat pressed over the front left tail which also displays a size "50" designation, an additional label is found above in similar style that displays Edgin's number "66" and "50 + 2B" (body length) as well as a “'13 S1” year/set designation. Decorated over the front with "Mets" spelt out in their familiar script, which has been administered in a layered orange-over-white tackle twill style, "Edgin" is spelt out in matching style letters over the upper reverse while his number "66" appears over the front and reverse as well, once again in matching style. Having had an MLB logo patch sewn on over the reverse neckline and the 2013 MLB All-Star Game placed over the left sleeve, the jersey remains in overall fantastic condition for its effort and has had an MLB Authentics hologram numbered "EK790958" affixed over the jock tag which when referenced online shows that the jersey is originally from the Mets' "Team Issued Collection" and is dated "Feb 24, 2014".
