Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Making his mark on the NHL during the late-1950s despite the dominance of the Montreal Canadiens, Gordie Howe finished first for NHL goals and points in 1957 - winning the Art Ross Trophy, he won the Hart Memorial in both 1957 and 1958, and he was selected to the First NHL All-Star Team, also in 1957 and 1958. We have a card from the era, with this 1958-59 Topps Howe specimen graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Just slightly off-centered, the card displays wonderfully for the assigned grade, with no creases of obvious defects other than a couple small wrinkles on the reverse and just light corner wear.
