Far less often seen than O-Pee-Chee hockey cards from the same season are these posters from the 1971-72 season that were released by O-Pee-Chee, which came attached, two to a pack and which are supposed to measure just under 10” by just under 18”. Featuring the two dozen biggest stars of the day including Bobby Orr, Ken Dryden, Jacques Plante, Guy Lafleur, Tim Horton, Bobby Hull and others, this lot offers four (4) uncut poster pairs (8 posters in all) from the 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee NHL Hockey posters release. Including pairings picturing the likes of Bobby Orr/Garry Unger, Red Berenson/Bob Pulford, Walt McKechnie/Jean Ratelle and Dale Talon/Richard Martin. With each pairing measuring roughly 10" x 36", the duo of Orr/Unger is found to be in overall excellent condition, showing just even light-to-moderate toning throughout its entirety and fold lines while the pair of Berenson/Pulford shows liquid staining/damage at the bottom of Berenson and top of Pulford as well as the expected light toning and fold lines. For the pair of McKechnie and Ratelle, the pair shows liquid staining/damage at the bottom of McKechnie and top of Ratelle as well as the expected toning and fold lines while some small tears are observed around the edges and fold lines as well. Finally, the pair of Talon/Martin shows light-to-moderate toning throughout as well as the expected fold lines. Also including an additional solo poster of Bobby Orr that displays with toning and fold lines as well as some light foxing in spots, don't miss out on these seldom seen early-1970s beauties for your all-important collection.
