Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
The captain’s “C” is sewn on the left breast of Mark Streit’s 2012-13 New York Islanders game-worn third jersey. The Swiss defenseman had 27 points (six goals, 21 assists) in 48 games during the lockout-shortened season. “1” is handwritten in bold blue marker on the top of the size 56 flag tag in the neck to denote the jersey is from the Islanders’ first season set of their third jersey. An Islanders Gameworn Jersey Program team patch is sewn inside the rear tail with serial number 444175 that corresponds to the team LOA that accompanies this game-worn jersey. “Islanders” on the front and Number “2” on the front, back and both sleeves is sewn-on orange, blue and white triple twill, the same material as the surname letters sewn on the nameplate. Islanders crest patches are sewn on each shoulder of this near-pristine gamer that displays no noticeable wear.
