Kyle Okposo’s 2007-08 game-issued Islanders jersey is from his NHL debut campaign, when he played nine games late in the season. The Isles’ first-round pick (No. 7) in the 2006 NHL Draft, Okposo had five points (two goals, three assists) in those nine games on his way to a total of 611 points (241 goals, 370 assists) in a 1,051-game NHL career with New York, Buffalo and capped with a Stanley Cup win with the 2023-24 Florida Panthers. The accompanying LOA states this jersey is game worn, but it is in fact a game-issued jersey that does not show any signs of noticeable game wear. “3” is handwritten in black marker at the top of the size 58 flag tag in the neck to denote the jersey is from the Islanders’ third set of the 2007-08 season. MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2007-2008 Season patch with registry No. E07048 is sewn inside the rear tail and the manufacturing sticker with “11.06.07”remains affixed to the Reebok laundry instruction flag tag inside the left hip. According to the MeiGray population report the jersey is a "White Set 3 GI" and the set 3 away jerseys were worn between February 23rd 2008 and April 4th 2008 (11 Games).
