A winner at every stop of his professional hockey career who got his start with a pair of seasons in the NCAA with the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, Jay Beagle would go undrafted and end up playing a total of 646 games in his National Hockey League career with the likes of Washington, Vancouver and Arizona. The first player in hockey history to win the Kelly Cup (ECHL), Calder Cup (AHL), and the Stanley Cup (NHL), offered here is this AHL Hershey Bears jersey worn by Beagle for a portion of the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs. Made by Reebok, AHL/Reebok and size "56" labels are affixed to the inner collar while additional Reebok crests have been added over the reverse neckline and hem. Also sporting a sewn on AHL league patch and embroidered 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs crest over the reverse hem as well, the front of the jersey is decorated with "Bears" going diagonally down the chest in dual layer black-over-brown tackle twill letters while both the Blue Cross and Bears 70th anniversary emblems have been embroidered into the right and left breasts respectively. Also sporting alternate logo and Washington Capitals logo patches over the left and right shoulders of the garment, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Beagle's number "21" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Beagle" is spelt our in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Likely worn for just a single contest out of the five (5) Hershey played in that postseason, the jersey shows just light wear via a stick mark to the left of the "E" and "A" over the front as well as a couple fabric snags and some minor pills inside the reverse hem.
