Having roots in the United States dating all the way back to the middle of the 18th century, baseball has firmly cemented itself as “America’s Pastime” in the many years since then and has given sports fans some amazing moments along the way. The top recognition of any Major League Baseball player’s career, induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York has only been awarded to 342 individuals with 268 of them being players. Offered here, we present this collection of vintage baseball cards. Paced in terms of age by a lone 1909-11 Sweet Caporal T205 of Frank Long that is in the condition range of FR to G due to multiple creases, the group also includes a total of fifteen (15) cards from the 1962 Bazooka release that are all found to be in the scope of PR to F condition due to tape marks over their reverses but includes names such as Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, Warren Spahn, Al Kaline, Frank Robinson, Gil Hodges and Eddie Mathews. Additionally, the rest of the collection features twenty-six (26) low-grade cards from the 1959 Topps release that features HOFers Musial ("AUTHENTIC" - torn), Mays (PR - large heavy creases) and Spahn (PR to FR - large creases) plus the rookie card of Sparky Anderson (GOOD - small crease and corner wear), a copy of Carl Yastrzemski's rookie card from 1960 Topps (PR - faded, creased and corner wear/damage), six (6) cards from 1961 Topps including 415-Aaron (with back damage) and 402-Larsen perfect game (with small dents on the surface), eleven (11) cards from 1968 Topps and finally, a mix of fifteen (15) other cards, including a Carl Yastrzemski from 1962 Post..
