Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A Stanley Cup champion with the Dallas Stars in 1999 and of course a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee in 2011, Ed Belfour did and won it all during his 963 game NHL career and by the end of it would win a total of 484 contests. Offered here, and hailing from the personal collection of “Eddie the Eagle” is this pair of pro stock Reebok Reevoke PZ goalie pads that were used and signed by Belfour after the conclusion of his professional career. Red and white in colour with red coloured Reebok vector and wordmark logos over the outer rolls and outside of each pad, "Reebok Reevoke PZ" is embroidered into the face of each pad in black thread while "Belfour" identifiers have been embroidered in white over the outside of both boot channels. Having been signed by Belfour underneath his embroidered name on the outside of each boot channel with black marker signatures that display well despite some minor fading from age, all the strapping, elastics and buckles remain fully intact and accounted for. Showing use through a number of puck marks throughout both pads and some sweat staining/soiling on the interior of both as well, there is also a small cut to the leather over the outside roll at the bottom of the right pad that is worth mentioning for accuracy. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Belfour will accompany.
