Vintage sticks spanning from the 1940s to the 1960s are offered totaling five, which includes 1960s game-used examples by Detroit Red Wings Hank Bassen and Len Lunde, along with a stick signed by Gordie Howe. First, the Bassen is a circa 1965-67 Northland model with his name stamped and stamps from team supplier Olympic Sporting Goods. There is tape to the blade and knob, with tape missing on the upper paddle. The stick shows good use with numerous puck marks and wear (this stick comes with an LOA from Mears). The Lunde is a circa 1962 Northland model with "Lunde" stamped to the upper shaft along with stamps from team supplier Olympic Sporting Goods. The original tape to the blade and knob is intact, with "14" handwritten in red to the upper shaft (Lunde only wore #14 with Detroit in 1962). The stick shows moderate use with wear to the shaft and blade and a few puck marks to the lower shaft. Next, there is a circa 1940s possibly early-1950s Northland paper label stick with "Red Wing" graphics and stamps from team supplier Lippman's. These sticks were likely produced to be team-signed by the Red Wings and given as souvenirs. The stick was never used and shows some age wear with some of the label missing. The fourth stick is a circa late-1960s to early-1970s "Gordie Howe 100" model with Howe signing the blade in black marker (signature bunched and slightly smudged). The stick does show wear from use. The final stick is a late-1960s Northland Custom Pro model that is like-new and was never used.
