Brett Harkins played 22 games with the Syracuse Crunch during the 2001-02 season. A Crunch patch is sewn on the right shoulder and a Columbus Blue Jackets patch is sewn on the left shoulder. The SP tagging remains in the back of the neck. Though there is no flag remaining, the jersey measures out to a size 56. Sewn to the back of the collar is an "AHL" patch. Sewn to the right breast is a sponsorship patch, and on the back hem is an “SP” and “AHL” patch. It has what appears to be some sticky residue below the American flag patch on the left breast. There are a few tiny reddish-brown spot stains on the left sleeve cuff and another spot of reddish-brown staining on the right cuff, and a number of reddish-brown spots stains on the back of the white collar, on the AHL patch on the back, and on the white twill surname letters on the nameplate. There is a black mark on the left hip, another on the white stripe on the front of the left shoulder and a few black marks on the front tail. A reddish-brown stain sits high on the white stripe along the left side of the front. The accompanying team COA confirms that the “Syracuse Crunch #44 Brett Harkins road jersey was worn during the 2001-02 American Hockey League season”.
