Defeating the host nation Sweden in the 1958 final to claim the country's first World Cup title, the Brazil National Team was led by a teenage Pele, who would go on to help Brazil win additional World Cups in 1962 and 1970. This complete set of 25 Brazilian National Team 1958 "World Champions" Remington Rand matchbooks by Universal includes Pele. Each booklet has the matches removed, with the covers and strikers all intact. The front shows an image of a Remington electric shaver, with a players portrait image and name on the reverse. Each also has the players club team handwritten over the lower left. The players along with Pele include Mazzola, Oreco, Vava, Zagalo, Zozimo, Dino, Didi, Orlando, Amaral, D. Santos, N. Santos, Joel, Feola, Zito, De Sordi, Gilmar, Pepe, Garrincha, Belini, Castilho, Mauro, Moacir, Dida and Brazilian Sports Confederation President João Havelange. All 25 matchbooks remain in excellent conditions with just very light wear from use.
