Capping of the first full season at the SkyDome in style, the Toronto Blue Jays set an MLB single-season attendance record in 1990. On Sept 17, 1990 vs the New York Yankees, 49,902 filled the stadium to watch the home team beat the Bombers, 6-4, while setting the record. Toronto would finish the season with 58 consecutive sell-outs with a total attendance of 3,885,284. We have a home plate with attendance record graphics including the attendance numbers from each game of the season, along with a Sept 17th ticket. The home plate has SkyDome graphics with Toronto Blue Jays and "Attendance Record Apr 10 - Sept 23, 1990" along with the grand total of "3,885,284". The ticket lists the date, opponent and $15.00 purchase price, and it is displayed in a plastic stand with "I helped break the Major League attendance record September 17 1990".
