Hailing from a season in which the Montreal Canadiens would win their fourth of five straight Stanley Cup championships from 1956-60, up for grabs here is this complete assembly of Parkhurst’s 1958-59 release totaling 50-cards and featuring classic Original Six star power from both of the NHL’s Canadian franchises. Found to be in the overall condition ranges of GOOD and G to VG for the most part, the key cards include those of 1-Pulford IA (FR to G - creased, corner wear/damage and wax over the reverse), 2-H. Richard (VG to VG-EX - light surface and corner wear), 11-Plante IA (FR to G - creased), 21-Plante IA (GOOD - stain on the reverse and surface wear), 22-Plante (G to VG - corner wear), 26-Plante IA (GOOD - crease that shows on the reverse and corner wear/damage), 33-Mahovlich (GOOD - small crease over the left side and corner wear), 34-Beliveau (VG to VG-EX - corner wear), 38-M. Richard (VG to VG-EX - corner wear), 39-Leafs/Habs IA (GOOD - small crease and corner wear), 42-Horton ("Authentic" - damaged front and paper loss on the reverse), 46-Bower (GOOD - small crease and light corner wear) and 49-Harvey (FR to G - multiple creases near his head). For the rest of the set, included are six (6) cards seen as being VG to VG-EX, twenty-one (21) cards seen as being around G to VG and finally, ten (10) cards seen as being in the scope of FR to G. Also including a group of seventeen (17) extras, the condition breakdown of those include; one (1) card around G to VG, seven (7) cards around FR to G, seven (7) cards around PR to FR and lastly, two (2) cards that are between "Authentic" and PR.
