This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
The greatest player to ever grace the ice of the National Hockey League and still holding a total of 58 records set by him during his career even 25 year after he retired from the game, Wayne Gretzky would lead the Edmonton Oilers to a total of four (4) Stanley Cup championships in the 1980s and go on to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999. Offered here, we present this framed canvas print of Gretzky that has been signed by the man best known throughout the hockey world as "The Great One". Pictured celebrating one (1) of his numerous goals and/or accomplishments during his time in Edmonton as a member of the Oilers, the stunning image measures out to roughly 29 3/4" x 24" and is housed in a still plastic wrapped black frame that remains in overall excellent condition and measures out to full dimensions of roughly 33 1/4" x 27 1/2". Still featuring its cardboard covers over all four (4) corners and remaining in excellent condition overall with no puncture holes or wear except for some tears to the paper backing on the reverse, Gretzky has signed over the piece with a large and bold silver paint pen signature that displays in stunning shape with no issues whatsoever. Having had an NHL hologram sticker affixed to the bottom right corner, a JSA sticker numbered "BB03249" has been added alongside it and is accompanied by a matching LOA.
