Classic collectibles that always pique the interest of those who are enthusiastic about them are 1964-65 Topps cards, with the intriguing details of this starter set featuring ninety-two (92) of the one hundred ten (110) examples of the oversized cardboard specimens being as follows. Found to be mostly in the condition ranges of VG to VG-EX and VG-EX to EX with some of the included cards presenting either slightly better or a bit worse, cards 4-Henry, 30-McKenzie, 48-Richard and 56-Murphy all have dried glue spots on their backs that are worth noting for accuracy while card #73 of Ron Maki has a piece of clear tape residue over its reverse. Finally, the checklist card, #55, was marked and later erased but still displays well. Missing #'s 8-Bergman RC, 20-Hull, 31-Mikita, 51-Westfall, 59-Pilote, 68-Plante, 72-Dornhofer RC, 74-Villemure, 80-Rousseau, 82-Lindsay, 83-Howell, 84-Robinson RC, 88-Tremblay, 89-Howe, 91-Nesterenko, 92-Paille, 102-Horton and 106-Mikita AS for completion, the group does include the key cards of; 6-Sawchuk (GOOD - corner wear and stained bottom border), 33-Beliveau (G to VG - corner wear and surface marks), 40-Bower (VG to VG-EX - factory print mark above his head), 47-Crozier (GOOD - surface dent and corner wear), 54-Checklist (VG-EX to EX - unmarked - print mark over box #44), 55-Checklist (GOOD - boxes erased), 58-Williams (VG-EX to EX - SP - light surface wear over right side), 73-Maki (FR to G - SP - slight corner wear and tape on the reverse), 85-Mahovlich (VG-EX to EX - light bottom and right side border wear), 94-Keon (VG-EX to EX - light corner wear), 95-Delvecchio (G to VG - 90-10 centering and light corner wear), 98-Hicke (G to VG - SP - 90-10 centering and bottom border wear), 105-Horton AS (GOOD - 85-15 centering - tiny crease along bottom border), 107-Hull AS (VG to VG-EX - ding at top right corner) and 110-Hall AS (GOOD - crease at bottom left). For the rest of the set, #'s 9, 21, 42, 53, 64, 66, 67, 77 and 79 are around EX to EX-MT, #'s 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 25, 28, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 50, 56, 61, 62, 69, 70, 71, 75, 76, 81, 86, 87, 93, 96, 99, 104 and 109 are around VG-EX to EX, #'s 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 15, 16, 19, 22, 24, 27, 29, 32, 34, 46, 57, 78, 90, 97 and 103 are around VG to VG-EX, #'s 4, 10, 23, 26, 49, 52, 100, 101 and 108 are seen as being G to VG, #'s 14, 30, 48, 60 and 63 are in the neighborhood of FR to G and finally, #65 is found in the condition range of PR to F.
