Drafted by St Louis in 1995, Jochen Hecht played in parts of three seasons for the Blues, one season in Edmonton, and a decade in Buffalo before concluding his career in his native Germany. This photo-matched Sabres Third jersey was worn by Hecht in 2002-03. A label with "56" sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests over the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with an attractive crossed-swords team crest with embroidered detailing, the jersey has been accented with slanted tri-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Nice game-use is shown with numerous puck and stick marks to the front along with additional marks and board burns to the sleeves, with a small resulting hole over the left elbow. Getty Image #1661344 (Nov 12, 2002) has been matched to the stick marks over the lower front. A MeiGray tag numbered "A00913" is sewn to the inside reverse hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
