Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Defeating Finland in the finals, the 2004 World Cup of Hockey was won by Team Canada. The Germans lost in the quarter-finals to the Finns 2-1, and we offer a Team Germany jersey worn by Tomas Martinec in the 3-0 loss to Finland on Sept 2, 2004 in Cologne. Nike and IIHF labeling is affixed to the collar with "56" sizing. Styled with a tackle twill "Deutscher Eishockey-Bund" team crest, "32" is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with the 2004 World Cup patch to the left breast and IIHF patch over the reverse hem. The jersey shows light use with just a few marks and burns to the sleeves. A COA from the NHL/NHLPA will accompany.
