Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Scoring a pair of noteworthy milestones with the St Louis Blues despite only seeing action in 18 regular season games with the club, Wayne Gretzky netted his 2,600th point and 1,000th professional goal, on March 18, 1996 on his first return trip to Los Angeles. We have a framed Blues jersey signed by The Great One. Featuring Wayne’s iconic number “99”, the jersey is mounted with the reverse showing, with “Gretzky” spelt out over the upper reverse in blue twill letters on the affixed nameplate, with matching alternate crests to each shoulder. Gretz has signed the first number “9” in silver, with the signature blending into the background material. Framed to full dimensions of approx 36" x 36", a WGA hologram is affixed, with a COA to accompany.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
