Nicknamed “The Greatest” and regarded as one of the most significant and polarizing sports figures of the 20th century, Muhammed Ali is frequently mentioned as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all-time. Holding the heavyweight title from 1964 to 1970 and winning Olympic gold in 1960, offered here is this print that has been signed by the 1999 Sports Illustrated "Sportsman of the Century". Measuring 20" x 24" and pictured in the ring with all four (4) members of The Beatles, who were in Miami Beach for their second appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show", while Ali was training for his first title bout with Sonny Liston, who are lying down on the canvas with Ali standing over them playfully celebrating, Ali has signed the black and white image with a black marker ink signature in the upper left hand portion of the image. With the autograph displaying without issue, a PSA/DNA sticker numbered "S06936" has been affixed to the bottom left hand corner of the image, which is accompanied by a matching PSA/DNA LOA. For the image itself, remaining in excellent condition overall and housed in an inexpensive oversized frame for protection, a good framing would surely make this one of the most eye catching pieces of your all-important collection!
