A diamond in the rough who was selected 58th overall by Tampa Bay at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Nikita Kucherov has become one the best goal scorers and overall players in the National Hockey League today, helping the Lightning to back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships in 2020 and 2021 as well as winning the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies in 2019. Setting the NHL records for most assists in a single season by a winger (100) and most points in a single season by a Russian-born player (144) during the 2023-24 season, offered here is this pair of skates worn by Kucherov during the historical campaign, that were in use for thirty-two (32) games, including contests where he recorded his 300th career goal and a hat trick against the Philadelphia Flyers (January 23rd, 2024) as well as the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto. Bauer Supreme model boots that have had the majority of their logos blacked out with marker ink/paint and "86" personal identifiers over each tongue, Tuuk light speed edge blade holders are affixed to the bottom of both boots, which are void of their original steel blades. Retaining the insoles on the interior of both skates but missing the laces, velcro patches have been added over the backside of each achilles guard to keep Kucherov's sock in place to his liking. With labels reading "Kucherov - 12/5/23" affixed over the inside back portion of both blade holders, the skates show heavy signs of use via numerous cuts, scrapes, scratches, scuffs, and other various marks/abrasions throughout both the boots and blade holders. Regarding the photo-matches, the skates are matched with Getty Image #1976107323 (February 2nd, 2024 - All Star Skills Competition) to the large black puck mark on the inside of the left skate's blade holder as well as various other marks and abrasions, as well as with Getty Image #1983272702 (February 3rd, 2024 - NHL All-Star Game) to the same large black puck mark on the inside of the left skate's blade holder that was mentioned above.
