Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 2001, Jason Pominville spent parts of 9 seasons in upstate New York before being traded to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Johan Larsson, Matt Hackett, a 2013 first-round pick and 2014 second-round pick on April 3, 2013. From his first full season in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, we have a photo-matched Wild alternate captain's jersey worn by the Repentigny native in 2013-14. A size “54” tag is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring a tackle twill Wild team crest with embroidered detailing, the tie-neck jersey has been accented with "29" in layered tackle-twill sewn to the sleeves and verso, with “Pominville” across the sewn nameplate in matching material. Showing nice game-use, there are puck and stick marks to the front and sleeves, with a material-backed team repair on each lower sleeve. Getty Image #459449689 (Dec 23, 2013) has been matched to; the dark mark over the lower front, the green thread bump at the bottom middle left side on the alternate's "A", and the dark marks just above the thinner green striping band on the right sleeve. The team patch resides on the inside hem with a team store price tag attached to the fight strap. A Team COA will accompany.
