Drafted by New Jersey in 1990, Todd Reirden played numerous seasons in the IHL and ECHL before making his NHL debut with Edmonton in 1998-99. The Illinois native would then spend a pair of seasons with the St Louis Blues and one with Atlanta be3fore additional time in the AHL and Europe. From his time with the IHL's San Antonio Dragons, we have a Dragons jersey worn by Reirden in either 1996-97 or 1997-98 - most likely 1996-97. Originally purchased by our consignor through the team's booster club, the jersey has Pro labeling with "54" sizing, with IHL and Bauer crests to the reverse hem. Styled with a partially embroidered team crest, "16" in layered tackle twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso with Texas state flag over the left shoulder and Bud Light sponsorship crest to the right breast. The jersey shows marks over the lower front and additional marks and board burns to the sleeves as well as small areas of paint transfer.
