Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Enjoying a lengthy two decades in professional hockey, Grigorijs Pantelejevs played for Latvia in 9 World championships as well as the 2006 Olympics. His NHL time included parts of three seasons with the Boston Bruins and 4 games for the NY Islanders. From his era with the IHL's San Antonio Dragons, we have a Dragons jersey worn by Pantelejevs in either 1996-97 or 1997-98 - most likely 1997-98. Originally purchased by our consignor through the team's booster club, the jersey has Pro labeling with "52" sizing, with IHL and Bauer crests to the reverse hem. Styled with a partially embroidered team crest, "13" in layered tackle twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso. There is also a 30th anniversary Professional Hockey Players Association crest to the reverse hem. The jersey shows a ton of puck and stick marks over the lower front and sleeves as well as board burns.
