Playing his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the Kitchener Rangers and helping the club to a Memorial Cup in 1982, Brian Bellows would be drafted 2nd overall by the Minnesota North Stars at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft and go on to play a total of 1188 games in the National Hockey League, suiting up for Minnesota, Montreal, Tampa Bay, Anaheim and Washington over that time and winning a Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1993. Also having worn the red and white of Team Canada on numerous occasions and once described as the hottest prospect since Wayne Gretzky, offered here is this North Stars jersey worn by Bellows during the 1988-89 season. Made by CCM, a Maska Air-Knit label displaying a size "54" designation penned at the bottom of it in blue ballpoint pen ink is affixed to the inner collar while the CCM logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Also having had "Team Choice" added over the reverse hem in individually sewn on black twill letters, the front of the jersey is decorated with a North Stars team crest in layered tackle twill style. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Bellows' number "23" in layered tackle twill numerals, "Bellows" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior, which also shows light pilling, the garment shows game-wear via light stick marks over the lower front, reverse, left sleeve and left shoulder along with board burns over the right sleeve. Also dotted with spot stains throughout its entirety, the jersey comes accompanied by an LOA from Spivack & Kraut.
